In our opinion, a boat of this size is ideal for a daysailer and quite adequate as a overnighter for two people. It's sufficiently large to offer ample interior space for these purposes and big enough to give the feeling that you've got a substantial boat under you and can sail with confidence in most any weather. Conversely, it's not so big that the initial cost and annual maintenance are overwhelming.
